At Growing Years Daycare and Pre-k, We welcome children from 4 weeks old to 4 years old. Our full-day, year-round Pre-School program is designed to provide consistent care and learning. At this time, we only offer full-time enrollment and do not accommodate part-time or half-day schedules. Contact us via email to schedule a tour, meet our staff, and explore our facility!
Infant Department
Ages
This department holds ages four weeks old till they turn two. At that point they get moved to our toddler department.
What We Provide
We provide table foods for breakfast, lunch, and snack. We also provide wipes and diaper cream. We do provide a storage place for mothers that choose to breast feed. Along with that, there is a place for your convenience to keep a car seat for parents that transfer the seat between cars.
Learning and Development
We like to keep a warm and calm environment in this room, which help infants engage and have healthy connections in the future. We focus on teacher sensitivity to build up strong emotions, which leads to early language development which puts them in right direction of verbal communication. We stay very interactive with them throughout the day, believing a child learns and develops more mirroring another.
Toddler Department
Ages
The age range for this room is strictly just two years old. Once they turn three and are potty trained they move to the pre-k department.
What We Provide
We provide table foods for breakfast, lunch, and snack. We also provide wipes and diaper cream. We provide the help of potty training your little one and have practice in making sure to keep a positive climate.
Learning and Development
We strongly work on emotions and behavior in this room, along side with social skills and language modeling. Allowing children to feel independent with the guidance of their teacher and motivation and encouragement of their peers, helps with their development in a way they feel proud of themselves. We have a wide range of activities built to grow and expand their minds preparing them for pre-k.
Preschool Department
Ages
The age range for this room is three through four years old. Although we don't enroll 5 year olds, we will keep them enrolled until they go off to kindergarten.
What We Provide
We provide table foods for breakfast, lunch, and snack. Hands on learning is in play when providing a structure lesson plan to help the children prepare for kindergarten. We also provide all supplies needed for learning!
Learning and Development
In this classroom are main focus is preparing them for kindergarten emotionally and academically. We work on analyzing and reasoning when it comes to problem solving and exploration along side with creativity to brainstorm new ideas and develop strong minds for the next generation!
